The educational program sessions feature world-renowned scientists, industry experts, and leading growers addressing the current status and outlook for orchard/market economics; three sessions on the latest tree fruit production techniques and strategies to improve profitability; two sessions on orchard technologies (plus a full day at the World Ag Expo worldagexpo.com) to improve decisions, precision, and labor efficiencies; and two sessions on mitigating climate challenges to improve consistency of yields and fruit quality.
There is also an optional one-day post-conference tour that will visit production of high-quality low-chill apples harvested in July, as well as innovative high-density, trellised cherry, peach, and plum orchards, and some new technologies being trialed.
